Fernando Catacora Books
I am the author of seven books in accounting and information systems and one translation for IFRS Miller Guide from CCH. This has been a long journey, something that has given me the opportunity to change the life of thousands of young professionals. Writing a book these days is something that is easier with all the tools we have available, however the experience to write a book with a pen or pencil and a blank sheet is just non comparable. Here are four of my books:

Accounting and Information Systems
Published by McGraw Hill in 1997 it is a classic book for accountants to be introduced in technology and accounting.

Financial Accounting
Published by McGraw Hill in 2000 this book is for an entry level course in accounting.

Accounting under Hyperinflation
Crafted to deliver exceptional insight, value, and professional reliability.

Venezuelan GAAP
Ensuring outstanding execution and lasting professional success.
For all my books
All my books include additional tools such as software, slides, suscriptions, additional files and more…
In the pipeline
As of 2026 I am in the process of updating all my publications, which is going to be a long journey, however something doable.
New books
Well, I have two projects running, one book in GAAP for Non-Profit entities based on INPAS issued in 2025 and a second one related to AI for the Accounting Profession, I am not sure which one will be the first one I will publish, however 2027 may be a tentative year for the next one.
